Thin Layer Deposition Techniques

Thin film deposition techniques (TFD) are widely used in the development and production of components for energy conversion and storage, nanotechnologies and semiconductors. Consequently, whether in the field of lithium batteries, organic photovoltaic cells, OLEDS or other sensors, many instruments must be integrated directly into glove boxes or interfaced by a flange so as to deposit a thin layer of material a few nanometers thick which must be protected from moisture and oxygen.
